Two people and thirty years with the nervous system.
ADHD Momentum isn’t backed by a software company or a health-tech startup. It’s backed by two coaches who did this work face to face with people for years before it became an app.
We built the app because the same things kept coming up in the room year after year, and what finally helped wasn’t a new calendar or better self-discipline. It was the state of the nervous system.
Satu Valero
Solution-focused wellbeing coach · LCAF certified coach · entrepreneur since 2016
Satu has worked as a coach and entrepreneur since 2016 and has trained in coaching and personal development in Finland and abroad over the past ten years. Her way of working is solution-focused: not digging up causes from the past, but finding the smallest move that changes direction from here on.
Her studies in positive psychology show in how she coaches. The starting point isn’t what’s wrong with you but what already works in you, and for a person with ADHD that difference is often the first time anyone has said it out loud.
Satu has ADHD herself. It’s the reason this program exists and the reason it was built exactly this way. She knows what it’s like to read good advice and be unable to start on it, and so she knows what a program has to demand of itself to be something you can actually do. This is made by a person with ADHD for people with ADHD.
- LCAF certified coach, solution-focused wellbeing coach
- Studies in positive psychology
- Trained in programs by Tony Robbins, Byron Katie and Robin Sharma, among others
- ”Dare to get excited” coaching and Varapuu financial coaching
- Countless retreats and wellbeing coaching programs
Joakim Kaipainen
KRI-certified kundalini yoga teacher · expert in nervous-system and mind regulation · coaching work since 2005
Joakim has done coaching and consciousness work for twenty years, since 2005. In 2013 he founded one of Finland’s largest kundalini yoga schools in Tampere, and since 2023 he has trained yoga teachers in his own line of kundalini yoga.
Twenty years leaves you with one thing you can’t get from books: you see thousands of nervous systems up close and learn to read what state a person is in before they say it themselves. That know-how is what has been coded into this app.
He also built the app himself: the exercises, the program structure and the technology. It shows in the result: every exercise is made to work on a phone in the middle of the day, not in ideal conditions.
Joakim doesn’t have ADHD himself. We say it plainly because it’s honest. What he brings is twenty years of understanding how the nervous system works and how to regulate it, on the mental and the emotional level, and kundalini yoga and pranayama are among the best known tools for that work. Satu’s experience tells us what to hit. Joakim’s expertise tells us how.

One journey that was too long.
Satu came to this work from her own need. She started from a state where an ADHD nervous system was badly off track, and over the years she arrived at deep calm. The journey was long, long in the way a journey is when no one has walked it before you and no one drew a map.
Her ADHD didn’t disappear along the way. It doesn’t. What changed was the state she lives her days from, and that changed everything else.
This app is that map. Everything Satu had to find one piece at a time, through trial and failure, is here already in order and in the right size. The purpose is simple: that the journey wouldn’t have to be as long for everyone.
Joakim’s part is the other side of the same thing. Twenty years of kundalini yoga, pranayama and coaching work builds an understanding of how the nervous system really works and which tools bite. One knows what it’s like on the inside. The other knows why it works. Neither would be enough alone.
We don’t try to fix you.
Most ADHD approaches begin from the wrong end: apps, techniques, self-discipline. They fall over, because a nervous system that’s running hot or shut down doesn’t take in new skills. It’s like building on a moving platform.
That’s why we build the platform first. The nervous system learns to return to a state where you’re calm but alert, and only on top of that do we build focus, daily life and work. Then they also stay.
The ADHD nervous system isn’t broken. It’s fast, sensitive and intense. The same nervous system that wears you out when it’s running hot produces, once regulated, hyperfocus, creative connections and quick situational awareness. The difference isn’t in the traits. It’s in the regulation, and regulation can be practiced.
What we aren’t and what we don’t promise
We are not a healthcare provider. We don’t diagnose, we don’t treat and we don’t give treatment recommendations. If you need an assessment or treatment, the right address is healthcare.
We don’t take a position on medication. Our method is medication-free, but that is neither a condition nor an alternative. The program works just as well with medication as without, and decisions about medication belong to you and your doctors.
We don’t promise that ADHD goes away. It doesn’t. What changes is your margin: how quickly you get back to the state from which things go well.
We don’t promise it works without you. The exercises are minutes long, but they have to be done. What we can promise is that they’re sized for a bad day too, and a break doesn’t reset anything.
Don’t believe us. Try it.
The free assessment takes about three minutes. No account, no payment. It’s the quickest way to find out whether this suits you.
